A year on 35mm

There’s so much I love about film, from its innate textures and therefore character to the beautiful colours and tones, and of course its mix of perfection and imperfections - to me, it feels like an honest and raw medium to connect my audience to the scenes I’ve tried to capture.

I’ve chosen to display a lot of my film photography (from a period of a year between autumn ‘24 and ‘25) here rather than just a small portfolio, so I hope you enjoy seeing more of a roll by roll breakdown of what I’ve shot.

Summer ‘24 C41: Kodak Portra 160, Pro Image 100, Portra 400 & Colorplus 200

Black and white summer - Kodak TMAX 400, Tri-X and Ilford Delta 100 (+2)

And finally, ECN2 (motion picture) film - the colours and detail are simply incredible.

Summer and autumn on Washi X and Kodak gold

Spring ECN2 - Italy (Bergamo & Firenze) and Athens

Spring C41: Kodak gold, Harman Phoenix 200 - a personal favourite - and Candido 400.

The winter rolls: Ilford HP5, Kentmere 400, Portra 400 and Harman Phoenix. Athens, Glasgow and Paris.
